A support group for the presidential bid of national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, known as Arewa Women for Tinubu, has said he is the best man to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
In a statement Sunday in Abuja, leader of the group, Hajia Saadatu Dogonbauchi, said age and health status of Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, have not rendered him incapacitated as some Nigerians were insinuating.

She said Nigerians should be concerned about the significant milestones his administration would record if given the mandate rather than thinking otherwise.
Dogonbauchi argued that Tinubu is the best man to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari at the expiration of his tenure in 2023, adding that his track records and political antecedent can’t be matched by any other presidential aspirant.
“The Constitution of Nigeria is clear. It has a minimum age and no maximum age limit for elective positions. Why should the age of a candidate be an issue?” She asked.
