A 49-year-old woman, Abosede Oloyede, accused of taking over her neighbour’s kitchen, appeared before a Surulere, Lagos, magistrates’ court on Wednesday.
Abosede, of No 11, Shobowale Street, Itire, Surulere, is being tried for breach of public peace and assault.

The prosecutor, Insp Courage Ekhueorohan, told the court that she committed the offences sometime in January at the same address.
He said she left a place where she rented an apartment and took possession of a kitchen in another premises, and that when the owner of the kitchen, one Mr Isiaka Baruwa, approached her to stop using his kitchen, she beat him.
Oloyede, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the magistrate, M. I. Dan-Oni, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one responsible surety in like sum and adjourned the case to March 10. (NAN)
