Soldiers rescue 8 kidnapped victims in Benue

Soldiers of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) in Benue State, on Sunday, reportedly rescued eight kidnapped victims from their captors’ den.

The victims, who are said to be natives of Agasha village in Guma Local Government Area, were kidnapped while they were working on their farms on Wednesday.

The spokesman to Governor Samuel Ortom, Nathaniel Ikyur, said the victims spent more than three days with their abductors before their rescue.
