The House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Anti-Corruption and Public Service Matters Tuesday summoned the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed and heads of MDAs over alleged abuse and inflation of nominal rolls.
The chairman of the joint committee, Dachung Musa Bagos, said the committee would write to all the agencies that shunned its sitting.

Earlier, the representative of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, Bako Nathan, said the ICPC had been investigating allegations of corrupt practices in various MDAs and had blocked billions of naira kept to shortchange the government over the years.
He said the commission blocked N42bn unspent funds in 2019 and N147bn in 2020.
Others summoned by the committee included the Head of the Service of the Federation, the Accountant-General of the Federation, the Auditor-General for the Federation and the Chairman, Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
Others were the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) and the Officer in Charge of IPPIS.
