The Niger Delta Indigenous Contractors Association (NDICA) has appealed to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to pay its members over N2 trillion outstanding debts.
Briefing newsmen in Abuja, the spokesman of NDICA, Dressman Darlinton, said the unpaid sum was for various projects executed over five years ago for the commission.

Mr Darlington expressed sadness that despite several appeals and letters to the commission, the Niger Delta ministry and other relevant authorities, no contractor had been paid.
The contractors threatened to protest across the nine states of the Niger Delta and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) should the NDDC management fail to pay them on February 15.
