Former champions Kano Pillars will aim to halt the unbeaten run of second placed Remo Stars when they square up today in one of the 2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) MatchD10 fixtures at the Ahmadu Bello stadium in Kaduna.
Remo Stars who are yet to taste defeat in the ongoing campaign are visiting Pillars at the wrong time as the spirit in the camp of the ‘Masu Gida’ boys is high following their morale boosting 1-0 away win at Heartland.

Rivers United who are also unbeaten will be up against strugglers Dakkada who laboured to hold visiting Rangers to a 0-0 draw last weekend in Benin City.
Kano Pillars will do Rivers United a big favour, if they inflict the first defeat of the season on Remo Stars as that would pave the way for the ‘Pride of Rivers’ to open a three-point gap on their closest rivals.
However, if the unexpected happens in Port-Harcourt and Dakkada pick the maximum points, even a draw against Kano Pillars would return Remo Stars to the top of the table.
Meanwhile, most of the teams that lost their away matches in week 9 have returned home and are raring to bounce back to winning ways.
