Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Rauf Olaniyan, has described the late former governor of the state, Adebayo Alao-Akala, as his benefactor from whom he immensely benefitted.
Olaniyan spoke on Friday during the inter-faith prayer held in honour of Akala at his residence in Ogbomoso.

Akala died on Wednesday in his Ogbomoso country home in Oyo State.
Olaniyan said he was a beneficiary of the large-heartedness the Ogbomosho born ex-governor exuded in his lifetimes.
He said Akala’s heart was so large that anyone who came into his house with a cry would leave with happiness.
He said that the late former governor embodied the commandment of God and was greatly used by God to answer the prayers of those that came across him.
