Nigerian tweeps react as former COZA choir coordinator calls out Pastor Fatoyibo

The founder of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly church, Biodun Fatoyibo, is currently the subject of discussion on the Nigerian Twitter space as he trends on the number two spot.

The discussion is because a former COZA choir coordinator, Nnenna Kalu-Ude, called out the pastor in a series of lengthy Insta story posts, claiming that the pastor maltreats members of his church.

Her post was triggered by the death of her close friend identified as Tega.

Her post reads in parts, “Dearest Tega, your death was so unnecessary but it will not go unchecked or unpunished. I am so broken. I am inconsolable. I’m feeling a myriad of emotions that are indescribable but the one I can identify as being on top of that list is rage.

“For so long, people have kept quiet, suffering in silence… Going through all forms of humiliation all in the name of ‘test them to prove who is faithful’. For so long, they’ve played with people like a game of chess… Human being that Jesus himself shed his blood for. It is about to be 2019 again. I am done keeping quiet.

“@BiodunFatoyinbo, @ModeleFatoyinbo, @BNBLadies and all your sycophants who move at your command. Jehovah’s judgement will not pass you by.

“People may not speak because they are afraid of you, I don’t blame them. I was like them too. But I am no longer afraid. I left my fear by your gate on the day of my last worker’s meeting in your cult.” (sic)

Shortly after her post, Nigerians took to their Twitter account to air their opinion on the issue.

For instance, a Twitter user with the handle, @wuzyurdaddy, wrote, “I’m not trying to bring his church down or anything, but that man heading COZA needs to be checked expeditiously kuz wtf*?” (sic)

Another user, @oluwadamilz, simply wrote, “This COZA guy again ??? One day cup go full ooo.” (sic)

Similarly, @FatalistB also tweeted, “This COZA pastor always trending for the wrong reasons.”

In 2019, Busola, wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo, accused the cleric of raping her several times when she was a member of the church.
