The Commander of Multinationals Joint Task Force (MJTF), Major General Abdul Khalifa Ibrahim, has urged newly promoted generals and troops of Operation Hadin Kai to be decisive and offensive-minded in the fight against the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram terrorists in North East, Nigeria.
He spoke at the investiture and decoration ceremony for the newly promoted officers at the headquarters of the operation at the Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri on Tuesday.

“Don’t use resources meant for operations for your personal use, it won’t get you anywhere. You must ensure that we end this war in the theatre next year so that we can have time for our families.
“You as a commander must be mobile and be offensive-minded. When the commander has this attribute, it will flow naturally down.”
In his remark, the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa, charged the newly decorated officers to make more sacrifices while redoubling their efforts in the discharge of their duties amid security challenges.
The Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum represented by the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Kaka Lawan, said the state government was ready to collaborate with the troops and commended the 22 newly promoted officers serving in the North East.
