HIV/AIDS patients get COVID-19 vaccines in Ogun

As part of efforts to vaccinate 50 per cent of the population in the ongoing nationwide mass vaccination against COVID-19, Ogun State government, in conjunction with the World Health Organisation (WHO), has taken the campaign to the People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).

The Commissioner for Health, Dr Tomi Coker, while speaking in Abeokuta at a 3-day sensitisation programme for selected 50 members of PLWHA drawn from five LGAs, said it was a service that afforded the government to integrate HIV into COVID-19 vaccination.
