Property worth millions of naira has been destroyed by an inferno that ravaged a building comprising seven blocks of flats.
The incident happened at Gaa Duroyi Akewusola, Amoyo Area, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State. It was gathered that the inferno occurred as a result of an electric power surge from one of the flat.
Although no lives were lost, the building comprising the 7 Flats were completely burnt by the blazing.

Efforts by men of the Kwara State Fire Service to put out the fire was not successful when they got to the scene, it was learnt.
Speaking on the issue, the spokesperson for the Fire Service, Hassan Adekunle, described that incident as “terrible”.
