The Ondo State government has banned vehicles with unpermitted tainted glass and unregistered vehicles in the state.
Adetunji Adeleye, the State Commander of Amotekun Corps, disclosed this on Thursday while speaking with journalists in Akure.

According to him, all vehicles with tainted glass not authorised by the appropriate institution would be impounded by the team.
He said the state government gave the order because “more than 90 per cent of criminal activities in the state are being perpetrated in tainted, unregistered vehicles and on motorbikes.”
“Amotekun has resolved to provide security for life and property of the citizenry in the state before, during and after the Christmas and New Year festival,” he added.
