The Governor said that even after active service, late Gen. Wushishi had continued to offer useful counsel that helped in the development of the society.
“The death of Gen. Wushishi has created a vacuum that can only be filled by Allah. The society will miss his wise counsels which are most needed now in overcoming the numerous challenges that have bedevilled Nigeria in general,” the governor said.
Governor Bello prayed Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Aljahna Firdausi and also give the people of the state and associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly, the Registrar, National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, has described the death of Gen. Mohammed Inuwa Wushshi as a great loss to the people of Wushshi and Niger State.
Prof. Wushishi in a statement by Azeez Sani, NECO Head, Information and Public Relations Division, described the late elder statesman as a quintessential leader, whose foot prints will remain inedible in the sand of time.
He noted that the death of the highly cerebral retired Army General has no doubt left a leadership vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
Prof. Wushishi pray Allah to grant the soul of the late elder statesman with Aljanah Firdaus and comfort his family, the people of Wushishi Local Government Area and entire people of Niger State over the irreparable loss.
