There was pandemonium at Unguwar Sanusi Community in Kaduna after a gas cylinder exploded and killed a seven-year-old and injured 10 others in the area, Daily Trust reports.
It was gathered that the incident happened around 6:15 pm on Monday when a gas repairer was connecting a cylinder in a house on Meyere Road.

Daily Trust gathered that nine of the victims were children of the same family and the mother of the boy that died and the gas repairer.
It was learnt that the children gathered to watch as the repairer tried to connect the cylinder after it was refilled.
The cause of the explosion remained sketchy as of press time.
Usman Bala, who is the father of one of the victims, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust.
