The governor’s condolence visit followed the hunting expedition embarked upon by the Och’Idoma IV, Agaba-Idu, Elias Ikoyi Obekpa, about one month ago.
He said a meeting of stakeholders from Benue State would soon be convened to kick-start the selection process, adding that the laws guiding the process would be strictly adhered to.
Responding, the acting Och’Idoma, Engr. Edeh, described the governor’s visit as a show of love to the entire Idoma nation, having sent his deputy earlier when the monarch went on hunting expedition.
