The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter, has appealed to the minister, Muhammed Musa Bello, to allocate a plot of land to the institute to enable it build its permanent secretariat.
The FCT chairman of the institute, Mrs Maryam Sanusi, made the appeal in her opening remarks at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the institute, with the theme, “Harnessing Diversity for Nation Building: The Public Relations Perspective,” in Abuja Friday.

The Senate minority whip, Philip Aduda, at the event, said all Nigerians must join in the effort to build the country for the desired growth and eventual development.
The minister of the FCT, represented by his chief of staff, Muhammad Bashir Mai-Bornu, said the public relations profession was strategic and could not be left in the hands of the unskilled.
