Police commission six blocks of classrooms in Edo

The Edo State Police Command has commissioned twin six blocks of classrooms at Adesuwa Police Barracks located in Adesuwa community, Oredo Local Government Area of the state.  

The classrooms, which are fully furnished, were built  by Glory Church of Christ Embassy, Benin zone in collaboration with the Edo State Police Command.  

The state governor, represented by his deputy, Philip Shaibu, said his administration is creating an enabling environment for individuals to contribute their quota to the development of the society.

He commended the Christ Embassy and Edo indigenes for investing in the life of school children.  

The state Commissioner of Police, Philip Ogbadu, said the command started building the classrooms before Christ Embassy and Edo indigenes came to its aid.  

He said the school would be beneficial to the Adesuwa Barracks and the adjoining community.  

Also speaking, Pastor Josephine Atibi-Brown of the Christ Embassy said they undertook the project to uplift the education of the police children.
