UniAbuja professors, children’s release delights family

Some family members of the abducted University of Abuja professors that were released have expressed delight in seeing their loved ones.

Six people, including two professors and two children were released on Friday by their abductees.

A family friend to Professor Sambo Mohammed, one of the abductees, Henry Idongesit said he was delighted with the news of their release.

Fidelis Obansa, one of the children of Prof Suleiman Obansa, was among the abductees, but was released after walking some distance into the bush.

He said the gunmen took some property and two people when they entered their house.
