“I have ensured immediate approval for the promotion of 195 staff that have been stagnated in the defunct Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR). This will stem an industrial crisis that could further harm the low daily oil production in Nigeria and worsen the nation’s generated oil revenue.
“The staff need to be happy before they can work and we have assured them of the determination of the Federal Government to look after their welfare.
Komolafe had in a podcast address to staff last week, urged them to unite with the board and management to build a strong organization.
Emphasizing a leadership approach anchored on inclusive management, Komolafe said: “In our drive to ensure best practices for a 21st-century regulator, we shall equally focus on digitalization of our activities at all levels. Our staff shall be given a sense of pride through the creation of an enabling working environment.”
