One of the emerging leaders of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Africa, IoT Africa Networks, has signed with world’s leading IoT service provider, Sigfox.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IoT Africa, Mr Lare Ayoola, in a statement, said Nigeria’s economy would get a boost with Sigfox operations.
Mr Ayoola said over 65 countries today had Sigfox technology running in their IoT, and that Nigeria was now one of them.
He noted that, “With IoT Africa as a Sigfox operator in Nigeria, I think the Nigerian economy should expect a substantial boost. The provision of IoT services and solutions in Nigeria will enable improved productivity, minimise waste, maximise loss, make decision making much faster by providing a massive amount of data that can be analyzed and presented for decision-makers.”
