The British luxury vehicle manufacturer has built on the technologies of the previous editions to deliver another breathtaking luxury brand to existing and prospective users; largely those who appreciate the idea of luxury.

It was described as the most desirable Range Rover ever created. The nature of the design is free from superfluous detail.

To start with the exterior features, it is built with Privacy glass, sliding panoramic roof, premium LED headlights with signature DRL, auto High Beam Assist (AHBA)

Interior features

The interior features include cabin lighting, three Zone Climate Control which gives the driver and the passengers the ability to control the temperature of the vehicle in three different zones; driver, passenger, and rear.

 Seating and interior trim

This comprises 20-way heated electric front seats with power recline heated rear seats as well as perforated Windsor leather seats with Duo Tone headlining

Infotainment

The infotainment features consist of Pivi Pro with 13.1” Touchscreen, Online Pack with Data Plan16 and Amazon Alexa; Wireless Apple CarPlay®20 and Wireless Android Auto Meridian Sound System. The built-in Amazon Alexa recognizes intuitive verbal commands for music, navigation and traffic updates.

The new Range Rover is available in a wide range of six and eight-cylinder powertrain options including PHEV and mild-hybrid integrations. There is a fully electric Range Rover on the way, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2024.

Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Land Rover, Thierry Bollore said, “The New Range Rover is a superb manifestation of our vision to create the world’s most desirable luxury vehicles for the most discerning of customers. It writes the next chapter in the unique story of pioneering innovation that has been a Range Rover hallmark for more than 50 years.”

Head of Design for Land Rover, Gerry McGovern who gave some insight on the changes said the change followed a gradual shift in the customer base of the SUV.

He said, “In Britain, it was always the vehicle of the landed gentry, the establishment, the farmers, the people who lived out in the country, that went shooting, all this sort of thing.

“It still has that. It still has a core following, but it’s much more than that now. It’s entrepreneurs, it’s people that are successful, it’s people that are creatively minded, or design literate.”
