Edeh said the 10 facilities were sealed between Monday and Wednesday.
She said 99 facilities were inspected, two persons arrested; while quacks were prosecuted.
She said over 50 percent of the inspected medical laboratories did not participate in any external quality assurance scheme.
She said her team noted the use of unqualified medical laboratory personnel to generate laboratory test results by some facilities; while others operated under unacceptable facilities that compromised quality as well as staff and patients’ safety.
