The Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Walid Jibrin, has said that the party’s convention slated for Saturday will hold despite the litigation instituted by the embattled former chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus.
An Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, had fixed today for the ruling of an appeal filed by Secondus.
Secondus, in the appeal marked CA/PH/ 339, is asking the court to restrain the PDP from conducting its national convention slated for Saturday.
Speaking on Sunrise Daily, a Channels Television programme, the BoT chairman said, it was “wrong” for Secondus to embark on a battle to pull down the house he helped to build being a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC).
