“What’s the use of building infrastructure when one cannot travel from Kaduna to Abuja by road?” Yusuf asked.

He urged students to get fully involved in the upcoming general elections.

He also urged the federal government to involve clergymen and traditional leaders in addressing banditry and insurgency.

Speaking at the lecture, the Chairman of the Coalition of Northern Group (CNG), Dr Nastura Ashir Sherrif, said it was wrong for youth to continue to lament without getting involved in governance.

He called on the government to restore power to Borno State, adding that there should be adequate security to manpower installations.
