UATH consultants hold conference

The  University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH), Gwagwalada, chapter of the Medical And Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) has organised a one-day scientific conference with the theme: “Health Challenges in the Face of Insecurity in Nigeria: Rising Beyond the Tide”.

 Speaking at the event, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of UATH, Prof Bissalla Ekele, stressed the need for staff of the hospital to always work in harmony with one another, calling on the consultants to give priority to mentoring with a view to enhancing efficiency in the hospital.

The UATH Chairman of MDCAN, Dr Sani Ali Samuel, said the essence of the conference was to brainstorm on the significance of improving healthcare service delivery.
