Taraba farmers pray, fast for rain

Taraba farmers have embarked on prayers and fasting seeking God’s intervention to shower their farms with rain as it (rain) had ceased for weeks.

Worse affected are areas in Zing,Yorro,Karim_Lamido and Gassol where rainfall ceased for weeks even as most of the crops are yet to mature.

The development, it was gathered had forced farmers to embarked on prayers and fasting seeking God’s intervention.

The Chief of Mutumbiyu, Retired Justice Sani Suleiman, told Daily Trust that farmers in his domain are in need of rain because “most of their crops such as Maize and rice are yet to mature.”
