The All Progressives Congress (APC)’s State Congress in Adamawa State scheduled for Saturday, October 16, has been postponed.
The chairman caretaker committee of the party, Barrister Ibrahim El-Sudi, told Daily Trust in an interview that the Congress was postponed because of insecurity.

He said there was a threat to peace as some contestants have smuggled in thugs to disrupt the exercise.
El-Sudi stated that the committee sent in by the National Secretariat of APC to conduct the congress have invited all stakeholders to a meeting in Abuja where a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed to ensure the peaceful conduct of the Congress in a new date to be announce very soon.
