Gunmen on Friday killed three farmers and injured one other in Nkiendonwro village of Miango District in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Madison Davidson, the spokesperson of the Irigwe ethnic group, told Daily Trust Saturday that the farmers were on their way to the farm when the gunmen ambushed and killed them and injured one.

Davidson said, “This is again another horrific and traumatic situation the Irigwe nation has been confined to today.
“The government and the security personnel should wake up to their duty and ensure that the terror being unleashed on the innocent people of Irigwe land is stopped or curtailed.”
The police spokesman in the state, ASP Ubah Gabriel, confirmed the incident, saying policemen had been deployed to the area to prevent further attack.
