94 lives lost to 301 road accidents in Gombe in 10 months — FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said it has recorded 94 deaths, while 845 people sustained various degrees of injuries in 301 auto crashes from January to October 2022.

The Gombe State FRSC Sector Commander, Mr Felix Theman stated this yesterday at the launch of the 2022 Ember Months campaign tagged: “Operation Zero Tolerance.”

He said this year’s campaign themed “Avoid Speeding, Overloading and Unsafe Tyres to Arrive Alive” was meant to buttress the fact that accidents are mostly attributed to speeding, overloading, wrongful overtaking, faulty vehicles and failure to comply with speed limits.
