Succour has come the way of a nine-year-old cripple, who sought for assistance of a wheelchair to aid his movement, as two Good Samaritans have each donated a wheelchair to him.
The first donation came from a lady based in Abuja who opted to remain anonymous while the second came from Zenith Bank Plc.
The lady also pledged further assistance to the nine-year-old boy.
The wheelchair donated by Zenith Bank Plc, was presented to him on Monday in his family house in Sunkani, headquarters of Ardo Kola local government area of Taraba state.
Similarly, another donor, Mallam Muhammed Garba, who is based in Lagos has sent a wheelchair and is expected to be received in Jalingo soon.
Jibrilla’s grandfather, Mallam Suleiman Adamu, thanked the donors for their prompt assistance.
He also thanked North East Trust for highlighting the plight of his grandchild which led to the multiple responses.
North East Trust had on November 15 reported the plight of the crippled boy, who pleaded for a donation of a wheelchair as the one he was using was too old.
He also called for assistance to enable him enroll in school like other children.
Jibrillah, who lost his father when he was two years old, became crippled at the age of three as a result of being afflicted by polio.
