The Kaduna State Civil Service Commission says nine workers have been dismissed and two others placed on compulsory retirement due to various offences in the last two years.
Also, five workers were demoted while 10 received warning letters for different offences.
The commission’s Chairman, Alhaji Sule Shehu Allahbamulafiya, at a media briefing on Tuesday, urged workers to remain committed and professional.

Governor Senator Uba Sani approved the simultaneous conduct of the 2023 and 2024 promotion exercises, which began on Tuesday.
The commission plans to use most of the tertiary institutions in Kaduna to facilitate a smooth process.
Changes include the introduction of a 50% pass mark for oral interviews and examinations, and an increase in the overall pass mark from 60% to 70% for Directorate-level officers.
Allahbamulafi expressed the commission’s commitment to remain steadfast in ensuring effective civil service in the state to drive the ‘SUSTAIN AGENDA’ of the government.
