87 inmates enroll for degree programmes in Nasarawa

About eighty-seven prison inmates in the Nasarawa State Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service have been enrolled into various degree programmes at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

The state Comptroller, Nasarawa State Command, Aliyu Yahuza, revealed this on Thursday in Lafia, the state capital, when Governor Abdullahi Sule paid a visit to the correctional centre.

He said that the command also enrolled no fewer than 81 other inmates to sit for the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).
