The beneficiaries were sponsored by the fund to pursue postgraduate studies within and outside Nigeria.
The vice chancellor of the university, Professor Bashir Okesina, disclosed this in an interview with Daily Trust in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
Professor Okesina also said no fewer than 162 academic and non-academic personnel of the university have attended conferences and workshops under TETFUND sponsorship.
“The university through ‘Learned Conference Policy’ has sponsored over 250 academic and non-academic staff to attend local and international conferences, trainings, workshops and seminars,” Okesina said.
He described staff training as one of the most important policies which any institution desirous of growth must embrace, stressing that “any institution that is determined to develop must invest heavily in manpower development of its staff.”
