About 814 people have benefitted from the 7th edition of the Sani Bello Foundation’s free medical outreach carried out in the Kotangora area of Niger State.
The exercise, which was the 7th edition of the outreach, involves surgeries and other medical treatment for the less privileged who came from far and near for the programme.
Speaking during the exercise in Kotangora yesterday, the director-general of the Foundation, Dr Zakari Kani, said the programme, sponsored by the Nger State governor was meant to assist the less privileged who could not afford treatment for some of the ailments they presented to during the outreach.
He said about 7,963 people had benefitted from the previous editions of the outreach.
Amina Garba and Safiya Sani, who had goiter, said the surgery was an answer to their prayers.
