The commissioner in the Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, Kaduna State, Hajiya Rabi Salisu, has revealed that 80 per cent of women that benefited from the Kaduna State Women Empowered Programme (KADSWEP) 1.0 and 2.0 loans have not refunded the money to the government.
She said this attitude was hindering other women from accessing the loan.
Speaking at a programme in Kaduna, she expressed dismay at the number of beneficiaries who defaulted, saying it was becoming a challenge for the government to give soft loans.
