Eight passengers sustained injuries in a bus accident which occurred at Yangoji, along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
A witness said the accident, which happened around 6:04pm on Wednesday, involved an 18 -seater commuter Hiace bus with registration number, ABJ 49 XH.
He said the bus, which was coming on high speed from the Lokoja axis, rammed into a pothole, and in the process, the driver lost control and crashed into a ditch.
He said eight passengers, comprising four male adults and four female adults, sustained injuries.

Our reporter who was at the scene observed as officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) evacuated the victims into their patrol van to hospital.
An official of the FRSC who preferred anonymity confirmed the accident, which he attributed to speed limit violation, saying the eight injured victims were taken to Kwali General Hospital.
