Eight workers of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State have tested positive for coronavirus.
The affected staffers are, Medical doctors, nurses and an administration staff.
The FMC Head of Public Relations and Information, Segun Orisajo, confirmed this in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday.
According to him, the victims were part of the team which had contact with a coronavirus positive toddler currently receiving treatment at the Centre’s Isolation ward.
