8 arrested over fraud, cultism

The Ekiti state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has paraded eight suspects over fraud, illegal wealth and cult related activities. 

The suspects, Adeniyi Folasade, (38), Oloko Ayomide (20), Muniru Hahaha, Abiodun Owoeye(18), were arrested for allegedly defrauded a man of N1 million as well as stolen over N200,000 cash from their landlady.

Other suspects, Timileyin Olorunfemi (24), Oladimeji Odunayo (26), Jimoh Farsi (24), Agbelusi Sunday, (28), were arrested over cult related activities in Agbado-Ekiti and allegedly conspired to murder one Anthony Dada in Agbado-Ekiti.

Parading the suspects, the state commandant, Mr. Olarinde Fayemi, said they were arrested by the counter terrorism unit of the command at different locations in the state.
