The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has said that 77 per cent of Nigerian women use bleaching creams that are dangerous to their skin and other organs more than other African countries.
The Director General of NAFDAC, Prof. Moji Christiana Adeyeye, said this at a one-day North Central zone media sensitization workshop on dangers of bleaching creams and regulatory control, organized by the agency.
