At least 7000 people drawn from Benue North East senatorial district benefitted from a free medical outreach carried out in Vandekiya Local Government Area of the state.
The outreach was organised by a philanthropist and consultant plastic surgeon, Dr. Torngee Malu, who is also the Medical Director of Med & Med Limited in West African subregion.

"We have so many doctors in this outreach. Over a 100 doctors volunteered to come for this medical outreach but we have to trimmed the number to be able to attend to them so we had 70 doctors for the outreach and they cut across all fields of medicine," he said.
According to him, the Malu House to House medical outreach at the time of this report had already performed 50 surgical operations on patients with major cases of hernia, lipoma, ganglion cyst and hydrocele among others who had avail themselves the opportunity brought to them at the grassroots.
Earlier, the traditional head of the area, the Ter Kunav, Nyiyongo Achiaku, expressed gratitude for the free humanitarian outreach to his people and thanked the Malu’s team of medical practitioners.
