The empowerment was in form of employment opportunity for Fulani youths with relevant educational qualification in various fields, the state Director General, Nomadic Affairs, Alhaji   Abdullahi Babayo said, adding that various skill acquisition programmes targeting youths of Fulani extraction resident in the state were in the offing.

“To achieve the desired result, we have collapsed various Fulani groups such as Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association and Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore among others into one umbrella,” he said, disclosing that the state government was planning to revive the comatose nomadic schools across the state to give opportunity to nomadic children to acquire basic education and transit to higher schools.
