67 nabbed for attacking, looting police stations in Lagos

No fewer than 67 persons have been arrested over alleged involvement in the attack and burning of police stations during the #EndSARS protest in Lagos.

Lagos Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, disclosed this on Wednesday while parading the suspects at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja.

He said six AK-47 rifles and several ammunitions, which the suspects allegedly carted away from armouries of Ebute-Ero and Ilemba Hausa Police stations, were also recovered.

The Lagos State Police boss said the 67 suspects were among 103 persons arrested for various crimes committed within the metropolis in the last one month.

Odumosu further said that suspected hoodlums who set ablaze Ebute Ero Police station were also nabbed and were leading the operatives in the effort to arrest their cohorts at large.
