The executive secretary of the Taraba State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, Umar Ahmed Ciroma, has said all arrangements have been completed for the airlift of 651 pilgrims from the state to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Monday.
He said the intending pilgrims would be addressed by Taraba State Governor Darius Ishāku today and will be conveyed to Yola International Airport on Monday and airlifted the same day.
He said all necessary arrangements including all mandatory screenings, vaccinations, and tests were completed, adding that the state has requested additional seats from the National Hajj Commission.
Ciroma expressed appreciation to Governor Ishāku for the support given to the Board which enabled the good preparation of the pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
