No fewer than 600 youths would benefit from wealth creation training for youth as part of efforts of a prominent Islamic Organisation, Nasrul Lahi- L- Fatih Society (NASFAT) to liberate youths from poverty.

The training is one of the major activities scheduled for the Nasfat Youth Conference in Kano between between 12th and 16th of September 2024.

The NASFAT National Youth Secretary and Amir, Bro Olasupo Tajudeen Olalekan, said the main objective of the training is to engage youths productively and equip them with useful knowledge to become successful in life.

He said a Scrabble Novelty Match that was played in Lagos which featured the reigning 2015 World Scrabble Champion, Wellington Jighere and Nasfat Games Scrabble Champion, George Adeyinka Ibrahim was part of pre-conference activities aimed at raising funds for the training .

Olasupo said the youths would be trained on practical ways to turn waste to wealth such as how to convert old tyres into furniture for homes and offices.

He added that the training would also cover CV writing, cover letter preparation and job interview techniques as well as training on the use of freelancing websites such as Upwork.

Other aspects include introductory training on software development, training on data analysis and visualization, training on using ChatGPT to build e-books addressing people’s pain points, sellable on Sellar.co and Amazon KDP, as well as building commercializable TikTok channels.
