Six herders facing murder charges before a Kano Federal High Court sitting in Miller Road in Nasarawa LGA of Kano State have pleaded not guilty.
They were accused of using weapons to attack a farmer at Tsamiya village of Makoda LGA which led to his death.
The accused, Alhaji Usman, Nasiru Baffayo, Umar Rabo, Shuaibu Adamu and Isa Adamu are facing charges that included conspiracy to commit crimes, use of weapon, inflicting serious injury and culpable homicide.
Earlier, during its previous sitting, the court had granted and absolved four of the accused, while Isa Adamu still faces murder charges.

Justice Hanif Sanusi adjourned the case to January 15 and 16, 2025 for continuation.
