Worried by the alleged hijack of the ENDSARS protest by urchins, the Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested six hoodlums over attack on passersby at Ebutte-Meta area of the state.
It said the suspects allegedly joined the harmless protesters and started destroying vehicle windscreens along Ondo Street, Ebutte-Meta.

Lagos State Police Spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the incident took place on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Adejobi said the hoodlums trooped out around 9.30 am and started fomenting troubles in the area.
He said it took the timely arrival of the police, who he said responded promptly to distress calls from innocent people, to calm the situation.
He identified those arrested as Qudus Oke, 22, Abdullahi Ajose , 25, Kayi Ajayi, 33, Micheal Ben, 27, Godwin Joseph, 25, and Oluwasegun Akinlade , 29.
“The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, has vowed to rid Lagos of hoodlums, hooliganism, gangsterism, cultism and other social vices as all hands are on deck in the command to resist any act capable of jeopardising security networking of the state and causing pains and agonies to Lagosians during the ember months and beyond,” he said.
