The Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency (BSPHCDA) has trained 59 health workers from various health facilities on Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) method of family planning.
The training was conducted with support of Save Million Lives (SML), a non-governmental organisation.

Speaking to participants at the end of the training, the Bauchi State Executive Chairman of the Agency, Adamu Ibrahim Gamawa, urged the participants to mobilize women to embrace child spacing to reduce maternal and child mortality rates in the state. In her remarks, the State Family Planning of the Agency, Hajiya Hajara Yahaya urged the participants to practice what they had learned.
