The CEO of Hi-Impact Choice Limited, Ambassador Bright Alexander Nwakama, made the disclosure in Awka, saying the Impact Tech Academy was majorly concerned about lifting the youngsters out of poverty through digital skills.

He explained that, “Impact Tech Academy is on the project of Anambra’s digital programme to empower 5,000 youths through the learning of digital skills. After training we shall give them employment in our partnering organisations.”

Nwakama further said that the digital skills training was free as Impact Tech Academy had partners who were sponsoring it.

He noted that the training would be comprehensive and that the participants would start from the basic to the advanced level of video editing, website design, cyber security and others, adding that the programme would run in batches of three months each.

He also stated that the Anambra State Government was aware of the programme as the Ministry of Education and Information and Communication Technology had given approval to the programme based on its international and Nigerian acceptance.
