Over 500 women across Nigeria will receive relevant tech and blockchain skills training to empower them economically.
The training, which was sponsored by Pan-African cryptocurrency exchange and financial technology firm Yellow Card, through a $3,000 grant, will be done in partnership with the Web3Ladies mentorship programme.
But Yellow Card, through its Social Good Initiative, intends to close this gap, equipping and preparing young Nigerian women with the necessary skills required to shape the future of the country.

Chief Operating Officer of Yellow Card, Jason Marshall who spoke in Lagos said the move by Yellow Card was part of its YC Social Good, the company’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, which is aimed at promoting financial freedom and enabling access to tech resources for everyone, including women.
