The Global Youth Leadership Experience (GYLE) has trained 50 youth across Africa to exchange ideas, build connections and develop their leadership skills.
The conference, organized by the World Changers Development Initiative was aimed to provide a platform for young individuals from various countries in Africa to come together and explore innovative solutions to global challenges.
The event which held at the University of Africa had the theme ‘Discover, Develop, Deploy’, featuring diverse range of 12 interactive sessions and thought-provoking discussions.
Participants had the opportunity to hear from renowned speakers such as Pst EbenAlonge, Dr Komi Hiagbe, Gideon Peter, Lapinni Akinyeni, who are seasoned leaders from the academia, business, Christian ministry and the nonprofit sector.
A delegate from Ghana, said Emmanuella Okaibea, said the event has been an eye-opening experience that gave the opportunity interact with young leaders from different parts of the world.
The conference also showcased inspiring success stories of young leaders who have made significant contributions to their communities.
These stories served as motivation for participants, illustrating the impact that young individuals can have when they take action.
Kwame Osei, one of the conference organizers, noted that the Conference exceeded its expectations.
“Witnessing the enthusiasm and passion of the participants as they shared their ideas and experiences has been truly inspiring. We believe that these young leaders will go on to create positive change in their communities and beyond.”
